The Team

Felicity Johnson LPC, NCC
I believe healing has less to do with becoming a different person and more to do with understanding and accepting the person you already are. When we stop fighting against ourselves and begin approaching our inner world with curiosity, meaningful change often follows naturally. My role is to walk alongside you as you begin to unbridle yourself from old defenses, expectations, and shame. Therapy can be a place to understand why those defenses developed in the first place, honor the ways they may have once protected you, and decide whether you still need them. Together, we’ll make room for all parts of you — even the ones you’ve learned to hide, criticize, or deem unacceptable. This way of working can be particularly helpful for anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, relationship struggles, and questions of identity or self-worth. Rather than asking, “What is wrong with me?” I’m often more interested in questions like, “What happened here? What has helped me survive? What do I need now?” My approach is strength-based and grounded in the belief that you know yourself better than anyone else. That doesn’t mean you have to figure everything out alone; I bring my training, clinical experience, curiosity, and perspective to the room; you bring a lifetime of knowing what it is like to be you. I see therapy as something we do together. My diverse background includes experience in community mental health, play therapy, survivor advocacy, healthcare, service industry, and body image work. I work with people across the lifespan and with families, and I strive to create a space where client’s identities and contexts feel genuinely welcomed and affirmed. You don’t need to have the right words before you come in. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on, and you don’t need to have yourself figured out. Come just as you are. I’ll make you a cup of tea or coffee, and we’ll start there.

I’m honored to be a part of the endlessly rewarding work of helping others redefine and reclaim their stories. I specialize in supporting young adults, parents/caregivers, and teens (12yo+). My therapeutic work is guided by integrating relational-cultural and attachment-based principles, which allows us to understand how your relationship to yourself, others, your culture, and community all shape and influence your experience, as well as how you can nurture these aspects to contribute to your growth, resilience, and healing. This foundation will ground the skills that I will use in our work together, which may include child centered play therapy (CCPT), expressive arts, sandtray, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting, a trauma-focused, modality that incorporates both mind and body. My background in nonprofit, community mental health, and university settings has gifted me with experience in working with challenges related to PTSD/trauma recovery, abuse, divorce, mood, life transitions, relationships, identity, parent-child relationships, emotion regulation skills, and LGBTQIA+ care. I strongly value the role of advocacy, making meaning, and finding belonging, all in ways that feel unique to you. In our work together, I will bring curiosity, steadiness, and gentleness to hold the vulnerability and courage it takes to seek mental health support. I promise to meet you where you are, build safety, acceptance, and sit in the hard with you. Creativity, playfulness, and a good laugh (or two) will also be present as we find moments of lightness together. I hope to be a guide, an advocate, and an authentic, trusted human to support your innate capacity to reconnect to yourself, to others, and the world.

As a therapist, I understand how overwhelming life can feel when you’re carrying the weight of stress, uncertainty, and emotional pain. I believe that healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard, and I am passionate about creating a space where individuals can explore their stories with compassion and authenticity. My goal is to walk beside you as you rediscover your resilience and grow into the version of yourself that feels most whole. With training in EMDR, somatic practices, play therapy, and expressive arts, I bring experience working with individuals of all ages navigating high stress, PTSD, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, relationship issues, and identity concerns. My approach is grounded in honoring each person’s lived experience. I see clients as the experts of their own lives and aim to meet them where they are emotionally, culturally, and personally. I value the power of genuine connection and believe that healing happens at your pace, on your terms. Whether you’re a child, teen, adult, or family, therapy can be a courageous first step. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and care, help cultivate your inner resilience, and uncover the strengths that already exist within you. Through a person-first lens and creative, evidence-based approaches, my hope is to help you move toward greater clarity, connection, and self-understanding in a way that feels meaningful and true to who you are.

Kailey Buck LPC
I am a licensed professional counselor who believes that we are all capable of change and am passionate about helping empower individuals to live their most genuine lives. I am an experienced therapist who earned my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Arkansas and have focused much of my learned career experiences and training on trauma informed care and attachment to help create a sense of felt safety and understanding in a space that feels authentic while challenging. Sitting in vulnerability and big feelings can require bravery and significant internal motivation and my goal is to help foster your inner resilience and shed the weight of trauma and stressors that inhibit you from living your most satisfied life. I aim to walk beside you in your path to healing while utilizing creative approaches such as sand tray therapy, expressive arts, EMDR, and play therapy that are suitable and allow me to be equipped to help all ages.

Authenticity, self-compassion, and meaningful relationships are principles serving as a compass for my work. I explore not only how you are feeling, but also your relationship with yourself and the world around your. My approach with children, adolescents, young adults, and families is deeply rooted in the understanding of attachment and physical awareness, as I believe that these elements are crucial for fostering felt safety and a path to wellness. I bring a diverse set of skills to my practice, including training in Child Centered Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Child Parent Psychotherapy, in addition to being a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I employ Health At Every Size (HAES) principles as well as respect and affirm my clients' identities, and every type of family structure. Whatever it means to be you, you are welcomed here. It is through my own experiences and these therapeutic approaches and ways of being that I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients, empowering them to explore their emotions, foster stronger relationships, and build resilience. My work as a counselor has been immensely rewarding and I feel honored to be in the presence of young people and the adults in their lives. I am deeply curious about the systems that support my clients, those that might benefit from improvement, and those that clients may not have connected with or been given access to yet. This curiosity fuels my dedication to creating a supportive and transformative experience for those I work with.
